Samantha Rose Liber

Brentwood and BHA deeply mourn the sudden loss of

Samantha Rose Liber

a member of our community for all of her 16-year life.

Sami was a student at Brentwood School since Kindergarten and was about to enter her junior year as editor of the school yearbook and a member of the varsity cheer team. She was a burgeoning artist who was looking forward to developing her skills in art, design and photography. Sami recently got her license and loved to drive around, listening to music and visiting popular local spots like Palisades Village, the Malibu Country Mart and Abbot Kinney. Here in Brentwood, she loved Luxxe, Sugarfish, Soul Cycle, Belwood Bakery and especially the Brentwood Country Mart. Sami had recently started working part-time at the Brentwood General Store on Montana and was volunteering with Allied For Children. With her family, she traveled extensively around the world and would help curate those vacations by pouring over the internet and social media to find the most picturesque spots and the best local dining. Her most exciting and best remembered destination was Lake Como and she couldn't wait to get back there. Sami was taken from us during a trip she planned with her sister and mom to Jackson Hole, while on what was supposed to be a casual ATV tour of the Tetons. Rod and Carla, along with their 18-year-old daughter Ava, will work to keep Sami's memory alive.

We extend our deepest condolences to Sami's family-Rod, Carla and Ava. Many of you may know Rod, who has been a resident of Brentwood for over 30 years and served on the BHA board for over ten years. Rod and his family have been an integral part of the BHA family for many years. Our hearts are broken. For more about Sami, visit www.samiliber.com.
